Social Media Account Manager

Fourge Social is hiring a full-time Social Media Account Manager. Must have a minimum of two years’ experience managing social media for business and experience/knowledge of running social media advertising campaigns. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience also required. Core Job Competencies 

 

Serves as social media and communications liaison between Fourge Social and its clients

  • Regularly and in a timely manner communicates with clients

  • Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.), including; planning content, publishing content, monitoring comments, direct messages and mentions, analyzing insights, and suggesting improvements

  • Curate, research, write, and edit content, including but not limited to whitepapers, blog posts, social media posts, video scripts, infographics, emails, interactive content, and web copy, all designed to build meaningful connections with key stakeholder audiences on digital and social channels

  • Identify influencers and bloggers that will grow our digital community and routinely engage the

Manages Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities

  • Curates relevant content to reach each client’s ideal customers

  • Creates, curates, and manages all published content (images, video, and written)

  • Monitors, listens, and responds to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales

  • Conducts online advocacy and open stream for cross-promotions

  • Devises social media strategy for each client

  • Proactive in providing marketing ideas to clients for social media

  • Develops and expands community and/or blogger outreach efforts

  • Oversees design (i.e.: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog)

  • Designs and manages promotions and Social ad campaigns

  • Compiles monthly analytics report for clients

 

Becomes an advocate for each client in Social Media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate

  • Demonstrates the ability to map out marketing strategy and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics

  • Develops a strategy and implements a proactive process for capturing customer online reviews; monitors online ratings and responds accordingly

  • Identifies threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the business; reports notable threats to appropriate management

 

Analyzes campaigns and translates anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising Social Media campaigns

  • Collaborates with all facets of the company to support creative strategies and build strong partnerships

  • Establishes creative visual standards for web and social media and content contained on social media

  • Directs and manages projects to ensure timelines are met for production and placement on social media properties

  • Monitors effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns

  • Analyzes, reviews, and reports on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results

 

Successfully completes ongoing training and continued education with the digital marketing space

  • Keeps current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs, events, etc.

  • After completing one year with Fourge Social achieves the NISM SMS Certification

  • Completes Hootsuite Enterprise Training and Certification

  • Completes Twitter Flight School

  • Grow expertise in order to serve as the digital and social media go-to-person within the company, and maintain and develop an understanding of best practices, features, strategies, and tactics

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient and applied knowledge of Social Media Platforms (for Business Use); Facebook Business Manager; Facebook Ads Manager; Hootsuite; Internet software; Spreadsheet software; Word Processing software; Outlook; Adobe Professional, including PDF files and markup tools; In Design or other paging programs, as well as prior Macintosh usage.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Hootsuite Social Media Certification preferred

  • Social Media Strategist training/certification preferred 

  • Valid Driver’s License

 

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical and decision-making skills

  • Graphic design background preferred

  • Organizational skills and detail-oriented

 

Other Qualifications

  • Previous experience in managing social media accounts of any size;

  • Excellent language skills and ability to follow a brand’s tone of voice;

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple social media channels;

  • Ability to learn fast and desire to acquire new skills;

  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing strategies and software both existing and emerging;

  • Passion and energy for technology and innovation

May need to travel to off-site meetings in Dubuque or within a three to six-hour radius at time.
